RRCA 50th ANNIVERSARY CONVENTION- The Road Runners Club of American and the Flying Pig Marathon, the host of the 50th Anniversary RRCA Convention announce that Registration is now open. Don't miss out on this opportunity to have your club represented May 1-4, 2008 in Cincinnati at our 50th Anniversary Bash!

State Reps Silent Auction-I am looking for donations for the State Reps silent auction, This will take place at the convention and will be a chance to have your club gear or races be recognized nationally. If you are not sending a Rep to the Convention I would like to get your proxy to vote for your club at the national business meeting. I will be sending you more on this soon.

Their in-kind donation to our events coupled with their financial support of the RRCA is outstanding. I encourage you to bid for a RRCA Florida State championship with some of your larger well established events.
2008 MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL INFORMATION- Over 850 2008 membership renewal packets were mailed out the first week of November. We are doing very well! 850 Clubs is our highest clubmembership ever! The Southern Region now has 262 clubs...that's up 5 clubs over last month! Remember 2007 memberships expired at midnight December 31. That means liability & D and O insurance expires too. Don't get caught short.
SPRING COACHING CERTIFICATION- Aspiring Coaches in the Southern Region!..Here is your chance to get certification right here in the south. Patti Fink RRCA Coaching Chair announced a two day course to be held in conjunction with the ING Georgia Marathon on March 28 & 29, 2008. The certification will be taught by Janet Hamilton and Mike Broderick, both RRCA certified coaches. Cost is $250 for the two day course to be held in Morrow, GA. Class size is limited to 30.
